The Range Rover Velar was unveiled at the Design Museum in London on March 1, 2017, in a world premiere event that marked the first vehicle launch to take place at the museum’s new location. This exclusive showcase highlighted the Velar’s cutting-edge design and innovation, setting the stage for an unforgettable debut.

Collaborating with the exceptionally talented Kate Dawkins and Dandelion & Burdock, who created the event’s stunning visuals, I composed and recorded an original score to complement the launch. The composition, led by a flowing and dynamic arrangement of piano and strings, was designed to reflect the modernist design philosophy of the Velar, embodying its elegance and forward-thinking aesthetic.

In addition to the studio recording at Angel Studios, Bjorn Dobbelaere conducted a live orchestral performance in perfect synchronization with the immersive visuals. This one-of-a-kind VIP event, presented in partnership with the Design Museum, brought the Velar’s debut to life, blending music, design, and innovation in a truly memorable experience.
